Message from Pastor Renfro:

Hi, I would like to welcome you to our website with the hope of being able to welcome you to church on Sunday. We have many areas of activity and service for you to be involved in here at First Baptist, but the most important to me is your involvement in maturing in your Christian walk. You will hear God's Word taught in a clear and interesting way as our Senior Pastor approaches the Bible in an expositional style. I trust you will find us warm and welcoming, like-minded believers who uphold one another in prayer, love and fellowship.

Ken Renfro was called to our Pastor of Outreach and Assimilation in March of 2004. He has been a member of First Baptist since 1972 and has been in lay ministry since 1969. He has served in various positions of teaching and leadership over the years. Prior to being called into the ministry Ken spent over 30 years in engineering management in the high tech industry. He and his wife have two grown children, both of whom are married; one serving in full-time ministry and one in lay ministry. They also have seven grandchildren.
