Music Ministry

The focus of the music ministry here at First Baptist Community Church is to draw us nearer to God. Ron Davis, our Choir Director and Worship Leader, chooses a variety of hymns and songs to prepare our hearts for worship. Our worship in music is accompanied by a small orchestra which we feel adds to the worship experience.

Our Sanctuary Choir sings most Sundays from the fall through spring. Their weekly selections encompass a variety of styles. The choir also presents two musicals a year; one at Easter and one at Christmas. These presentations often include additional vocalists, narrators, and enhanced sound and lighting.

Other opportunities to minister in music include solos, duets, trios, small ensembles and offertories. The music ministry at First Baptist Community Church is an integral part of our worship services.
